It's kinda funny, success (well sort of)

You know I find it kinda of funny with some success. I have been working on, and off, of my weight loss for a couple of years now. Going down then up then down and so on. But after we came back from summer vacation and I was riding the weight gain train and it was time once again to do something. I pretty much jumped right into Insanity and ate very good for 60 days. Went from 289 lbs to 267 lbs, lost 5 inches of my waist, and so on and so with the good stuff. And in the last 2 years I am down from around 320 lbs. But I put so much work and effort into the 60 days that I never really thought about, or more importantly prepared, for what to do after. I primarily workout at home, and we have a family trip to Disneyland coming up in 4 weeks. So, my plan was to do a P90X/Insanity hybrid program but the trip would break it up the routine. I know there are other workouts (Hip Hop Abs, 30 Day Shred, etc.) that are 4 weeks, but I seem to come up with all sorts of excuses to not do them (I did try one workout of Hip Hop Abs, barely got a sweat on). How could a person go from completely motivated, into it the change, blah, blah, blah, and go to completely opposite. I have done barely anything for 3 days and eaten like there is no tomorrow. Anyone else, experienced this.

You have been working hard on your weight loss for five plus years. Just think of the difference in the pics from when Matthew was born to when Abby was born!
We will just keep on keepin' on and be supportive of each other.
We are gonna have ups and downs.
I loved you when you were at your heaviest and I love you just the same at this size!!
    Keep up the FANTASTIC JOB!
  • I guess I should add this is in response to mikenelson20
  • Then my advice-do insanity again!! If that was working and you were sticking with it then do it again!!

And big Congrats to you for taking it on!! That's not a program for the faint of heart and honestly, it's not even recommended for people with more then 50 lbs. to lose. I started my weight loss at 270 lbs. back then Hip Hop Abs was killing me!! I would never have been able to attempy anything like that!! (I'm starting it November 11!!)
