Second try on dieting

Well, I was here before and was doing good for a few weeks, then I slipped up and had the "oops, diet over!" moment. I've since gained another ten lbs because I have a crappy lifestyle, so I'm back and hoping to do better this time. The hard part for me isn't necessarily the food, the calorie counting is actually kind of fun for me, my problem is the exercising. I know it's not really that hard to go outside and take a walk, but getting motivated to do so is hard.

Ok so the key is to get motivated start off small, a 15 min walk e.g. and then increase it. You might find you'd be more motivated with a Fitbit which counts your steps, that way it becomes a competition and that gets most people motivated
At least your back and wanting success, I feel any of us can succeed
If we want it bad enough to work for it0 -
Oh that's a good idea, I'm trying to set goals for like, riding my bike and walking three times a week, but I get bored doing those by myself.0

This is my second time doing this after taking a break when I was pregnant. First of all, you have to not think about it as dieting. I diet is a temporary thing. Diets constantly change and come a dime a dozen. This is a life style change. I had to accept that this is the way it'll be for the rest of my life. Once I reach my GW, it'll change a little when I just start maintaining, but I will still have to be in this mode, or I will gain it all back. Make exercise part of your life. Make eating healthy part of your life. Find an exercise video that is fun or some activity that you really like. Swimming, cycling, dancing, kick boxing...something that doesn't seem like exercise that you enjoy.0

I set goals for the week and ask other people to join me. This week it is 100 push-ups a day. I break it up into sets 25 throughout the day.
Friend me and we can set goals each week.:happy:0 -
