Total Daily Energy Expenditure
This is the total cals you burn in a day based on your activities. If you are trying to lose weight you need to eat less calories than this number.
There are lots of calculators to determine this number. I see this one referenced frequently. http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html0 -

It is Total Daily energy Expenditure.
In other words, the total amount of energy you expend in a day. This includes exercise, walking, breathing, talking, sitting down and getting up... everything.
It will change everyday, as you will not do exactly the same thing everyday. Your TDEE on workdays will be much higher than your TDEE on weekends or days off.
There are internet calculators but they are highly unreliable. My TDEE is as low as 1000 some days, and as high as 3000 on other days.
I will re evaluate my calorie intake daily based on my activity level for that day. If I ate everyday based on a 3000 calorie day, I would be gaining weight. If I based it on a 1000 calorie day, I would be dead.0 -
