in 2hrs and 5mins, and i got tendonitis behind my left knee at the 8km mark, so had to stop running when the pain became excruciating, only for 30-60secs just until the pain subsided, then off i went again, pretty happy with my time

Great job! I've only done a 10k so far. I'm thinking about doing a half marathon in December.

Congratulations! Great time despite your set-back! I completed my first Half in May. About the 10 mile mark I thought "I'm never doing this again!". So, I did my second one last Sunday and I signed up for another one in November. They are addicting! LOL.

Yay! Congratulations! I remember the excitement of finishing my first half-marathon...it was freezing cold (Las Vegas, early Winter morning) and I hit a wall somewhere between mile 9-10. Luckily I ran with a very good friend of mine (& experienced marathoner) who coached me through the last few miles. We celebrated afterwards with gingerbread martinis at breakfast and dinner & dancing into the following morning. Wishing you continued success!! :-)
