Once upon a time I lost a small bale of hay, then I got it back plus 10 dozen large eggs. I've currently lost an automobile tire.

I have just started using My Fitness Pal so my records don't show the loss I have.....an average 2 year old!
Over the past few weeks I stalled so thought I'd better start recording what I eat again. It's surprising what sneaks into your mouth when you're not looking!

    Also a bald eagle.

However, having no idea what a bald eagle feels like on my arm (I've held hawks and falcons, but never an eagle), I weighed my boxes of books this morning right after I weighed myself, and the top one was 12.6 pounds. So I am considering that I've lost a box of books.

I was surprised to find out how much 12 pounds actually was. I'm pretty good at guessing higher weights accurately (from training when I was younger), but anything under about 25 pounds I find it hard to estimate.

I now feel the need to stop by the local aviary and see if they have a bald eagle for me to hold. :D

Since I started losing weight, I've lost the equivalent of an Irish Setter. I didn't know they weighed quite that much. :)

Editing to say that I'm shooting for a small bale of hay...part of my job as a horse groom used to be shifting bales of hay from the truck to the barn and they aint light!
