Trying to stick with MFP.. support would be helpful!!

As I wrote in my bio, I went through a dark time with depression and anxiety and it caused me to gain a lot of weight. Things are much better now but I'm trying to get back to where my body used to be. I used to use MFP and would forget to do it for a few days and give up. Now I'm determined to stick with it! I want to live a healthier life, I want to fit in my clothes, and honestly? I want to look good for my boyfriend. I even get nervous posting full body pictures on FB, the double chin already makes me want to throw up. I don't like going to the gym but I'm going to start using my treadmill and bike downstairs, maybe lift some weights while I watch tv?

I don't know if you can have "friends" on here but if that's possible and you can relate I would LOVE to keep in touch with people who are feeling the same way I am, we can give each other support and ideas for workouts and healthy meals.

Cannot wait to get on the road to a better body!

I love motivating others. I have lost about 90 pounds in the last few years and now try to inspire others to get fit and healthy.

I'll totally be friends with you! =)

The thing that's helped me the most to stay committed was the phone app - and having it right next to my "facebook" button has helped even more. They kind of make it hard to NOT stay committed!

you can add me if you wish. I am on regularly and have been consistant with my own program. I can "push" you and try to inspire, as anyone on here can, but its up to YOU to do the work

Something i find helpful, is having MFP as one of the pages that automatically opens when you click on your internet (just like your homepage tab). If it pops up, you can't forget about it, but its still up to you to log and post

I'm glad you're in a better emotional place and I wish you nothing but success on your journey

Hi all, I started using MFP a while back when I was taking a fit boxing class it was a 12 week biggest loser challenge. I struggled a lot to lose weight. So I started tracking my calories here and recording exercise. I have 4 children 5 and under. It is hard to stay motivated. I ended up gaining all the weight back plus some extra which was really depressing. I try my best to push my self and stay motivated but sometimes it is just plain hard. Fortunately my husband is encouragement enough, with out saying a word. But it would be nice to have a pal to keep me motivated... Someone who is struggling even though they are doing everything right or their best to do everything right.
