Hi there, I have just calculated my BMR and got 1293. Is this the minimum amount of cals I should eat a day? What if I am consistently under this?

Well if you're constantly under this you're very stupid.

Your BMR is the amount of calories your body burns if it was doing nothing all day, like staying in bed.

this post is a plan but it is up to you what you put you calories at or if you want to follow it, I just put that there because I think it does a good job of explaining things and how to calculate out your numbers

Common sense would suggest that if you eat under your bmr, your resting metabolic rate will adapt to become more efficient and burn less calories. Ideally, you want to aim for between your TDEE and BMR. And since you have very little to lose, it should be closer to your TDEE.

Do you exercise? If, so what is your routine?
  • I do a routine I came up with myself of squats, crunches etc twice a day and take the dog for a walk/run of half hour to 1 hour up to twice a day. Plus looking after 3 babies :)

Based on your stats I would suggest at least 1550 calories. You are lightly active with babies alone and if you exercise its going to be more. You may want to add another 100 calories for your routine. You have little weight to lose so you need to get adequate nutrition so you dont lose muscle. Also, set macros around 40% cho and 30% pro and fats.
