Put your numbers all in each calculator and you'll get a very good overall view of where you are now. Then put in what you think would be a good goal and see how that looks. Body fat puts me really low for my military ideal calculated weight. So I went a little higher on my end goal and my body type feels and looks best a little on the high end for my height. Men and women can use these calculators.

To be 5'10" and toned at 250 is damn near impossible. I would shoot for 200 tops. A man standing 5'10" at a toned 200lbs is NOT small. That's still quite a bit of work. I'm 5'10" and my goal is 175 to 185.

5'10 and 250lbs and "tone" is basically 2013 Mr. Olympia Phil Heath level numbers. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1791440-mr-olympia-2013-phil-heaths-dominant-run-will-be-tough-to-stop

Unless you are a bodybuilder or powerlifter with elite-level numbers, you need to be sub-250. 200 would probably be a fantastic stretch goal for you. Good luck.

I agree that 5'10 at 250lbs is pro level numbers with the help of a lot of illegal substances. 200lbs is a good solid weight.

You could probably get away with 220 at a legit 5'10"

I'm 5'7" and took this pic at ~210.

thanks for the advice guys seems that i need to shoot for that extra 30 to 25 pounds when i reach 250 i'll evaluate and go at it i was using 250 as a becnch mark since that would be 150 pounds down, but i know if i reach that 250 i'll wanna keep going

I'm 5'10"... Maybe not "large-framed", but when I stated my weight loss, I was 197 and, based on every available measurement I could find, I was over weight... And looked it. I am now down to around 172 or so and right on the bubble between overweight and normal. My goal is to be around 160 when I'm done.

I am happy at my current weight of 173-175. At my most muscular I was 185. I was pretty darn small at my lightest of 165-167.

Yep. 250 is a good intermediate weight goal. Good luck.

Also, it's quite reasonable to be sub-200 at 5'10. Can have a great physique at 180-190 if lean.

200 lbs at 5'10 is what I'm shooting for. Currently I'm 249, my smallest in 10 years. Took me 4.5 months from 295 to get here. My in in initial goal was 220 but I think I'll look really slim and trim but semi brolic at 200lbs. Its a grown man weight. You can still run fast and jump high if you train at that size. Most likely will be a 34-36inch waist which is great by my standards. Keep on pushing man. You will get there.
