Looking for good running shoes

HI! im new to running - just started this week - but i love it. i need to get some pretty supportive running shoes however im on a pretty tight budget. im pretty into reading product reviews but im having a difficult time finding reviews that specifically answer my questions.
any kinesiologists out there?
when i run, there are very specific parts of my legs that hurt that are obviously related to how i am running. runnersworld.com has a pretty neat 'shoe finder' app but im not exactly sure how i strike the ground.
so, heres where my pain happens:
- ankles: where my shin connects to my ankle. on the left leg its only on the inside on the right leg its both the inside and outside. however, on my left leg, the inside of of hip will start to hurt. so much so that i have to stop sometimes for a break.
- knees: inside of my left, just below my knee. the left leg will swell up a bit and hurts a bit more than the right.
- the toe bones in the tops of my feet - mostly on my right foot.
i understand that a lot of this could be because of my high arches (i was in ballet classes when i was a child into my early teens)
anyone offer any advice?

You really need to get fitted at a running specialty store. There's not much that can be done online. One of the biggest causes of injury is wearing the wrong shoes so you want an expert who can watch your mechanics and see exactly how you run. Then they can fit you with the proper shoe. They will also have a treadmill that you can run on to try out different shoes so you don't have to buy a bunch or settle for the wrong one.0
