  • Hey there! If I would give one piece of advice it would really be on the psychology side of training. I'm not sure how many would agree with me, but I'm a firm believer in coming to terms with my body in its current shape and state. What I mean here is, when I get stressed or upset by my weight, appearance or tightness of my clothes, it really puts me in a negative head space. Negativity isn't conducive to a positive experience (in my opinion). What do you think?

My other recommendation would be to have a goal/plan for training and food management.z Do you have one?
  • Thank you for the reply totally agree with you there!
I've set a plan and I'm going to do the 30day shred.
I just feel like giving up :(

Take measurements now as it is a proven fact that scales are lying bits of hardware that cannot be trusted.
They may appear to have you stalled at some point in the future, but changes in your measurements are a true indication of change.

Log everything you eat, take on loads of water, get diary open for accountability, get loads of supportive friends (who you can support too) and move about a lot.

Apart from that, charge on!!! LOL
  • Haha great advice thank you! I didn't even think to measure myself
Ill do all that and keep a dairy thank you :)

Step 1: put big girl panties on

Step 2: you're in charge of you

    Step 3: Stop making excuses

Step 4: Figure out what YOU like to do so YOU will workout

  • Don't ever give up and keep pushing as hard as you can every day. Don't set your goals so high that they can't be reached in a reasonable ammount of time. Surround yourself as much as possible with people that will provide a positive influence on your life and your goals. If you stumble a little from your routine/plan don't beat yourself up over it. Just get back up, dust yourself off and keep going.

Hope this helps you on your quest to meet your fitness goals.

weigh and log it all , every single mouthful with no exceptions. Most people over estimate how active they are and under estimate how many calories they put away.. or even what is in the food they consume regularly

take photos now .... and measurements ...

sometime in the future you will feel weak or be upset you haven't done as well as you hoped and then you can look at those measurements and photos and it will help you

willpower will be required but there are plenty here who will help motivate, check out other peoples progress.. there is hope for everybody.

    good luck
