Breaking Wind

It seems people are bored of talking about the same things over and over, so how about something different and a bit funny. Also childish, but that may appeal to some!

I was wondering what terms other people have for breaking wind. When I was growing up we said "trumping" "letting off" and "silent but deadly (SBD)" I grew up in the East of England, and want to know what people say and where they are from.

    I say *kitten* flappin' or if its a long high pitched sound, I follow it up with the word squirrel. But say it like the fart sounds. Sssqqquuiirreeellll.

    i dated a girl who called it "pooting"

    i had never heard that term before. i thought it sounded odd.

    thankfully, we broke up and i never had to hear it again.

    I'm surprised "crop dusting" hasn't been mentioned yet. For those unfamiliar with the term, its when a person walks thru a crowded room letting out several farts and then exits while leaving everyone with the aftermath.

    Yes. Yes I did and yes it is. I'm maybe thinking of reviving it as a zombie thread so everyone can start thinking about the "leanstains" program.
