Right fresh start but a very low budget so any tips would be welcome cheapest recipes filling and tasty for the whole family

Potatoes, carrots, celery and onions are my big staples and if you buy in bulk they are really cheap. Great for stew, curry or soups with the addition of some lean meat or beans (cheaper if you buy dry).0

I use recipes that you can get 1-2 meals out of and then add things to it like pasta, or sauce to turn it into something else to get a few more meals out of.
