Hitting Protein Intake/ Protein Suggestions

So, I suck at getting protein. I've been tracking my intake for about 3-4 weeks now and this is what I found:
Week of Sep 9: 48% C/35% F/12% P
Week of Sept 16: 42% C/32% F/16% P
Week of Sept 23: 48% C/38% F/14% P
This week ( so far): 46% C/ 35%F/ 19% P
I've been trying to hit 40/30/30 but as you see I'm not even coming close on protein so I'm going to try protein shakes. I'm not really a meat eater, nor a beans and rice person. I do like eggs, but one person can only eat so many, so I need suggestions for good protein supplements that taste good yet won't kill my bank.

Hi
I had the same issue when I started at MFP. It has been difficult for me to increase protein levels.
You have to find something you like with protein and decrease your other macros (fat ?) and still keep your calorie deficit to lose weight.
My protein sources
Greek Yogurt
Cottage cheese
chicken breast
fish (salmon, tuna, tilapia)
Tofu
whole grain bread
I prepare my own protein shake in a blender (whey protein isolate, banana and skim milk) for my workouts only. I do not take it on my rest day.
I like beans (all types), lentils and chickpeas. I know you do not like them.
Good luck in your journey0 -
I like black beans, baby limas, white beans. I just hate eating them everyday. I'm starting to feel this way about chicken breast. There's only so much chicken and beans I can take haha.
But I do hate chickpeas. I've tried them in all forms and I just can't do it.0 -
I don't have ANY problems hittig protein LOL But I do use a protein shot right after working out. It's 42 grams so I only drink half of it each day. It's called New Whey liquid protein, they have a couple different flavors but watermelon or sour apple are my faves. Even if you don't love the taste, they are only 3.8 ounces so it'll be okay0

where did you find those? I am having same issue.0

Add protein powder to oatmeal in the morning or have a shake. I usually eat enough fish and chicken that it isn't a problem. Other good sources are cottage cheese and soy.0

I get them on amazon because they are a bit cheaper than the one store I found them at(Kroger) but GNC also has them at rip off prices. One of my friends was nice enough to pass along the message after I had told her about trying my husbands protein shakes(not lovely when you take it with water).0 -
I eat 2 whole eggs and 2 whites scrambled with a shot of water each morning either on extra thin grainy toast with thin spread of cottage cheese or leafy green salad, that's 29grams of protein
Or I have oats (50g) made in water, with natural yoghurt (100g), protein powder (1 scoop) and 15 almonds which is a super breakfast and has 38grams protein and keeps you plenty full not to need morning tea
Then I have a protein bar or high protein snack ie: roasted chick peas (30grams = 6.3g protein), roasted soy beans (30grams = 9 g protein), raw almonds and natural yoghurt (15 nuts + 100g = 14.8g protein) at morning and afternoon tea and a low carb protein shake/bar or meat with dinner after a workout
I have a very high protein lowish fat and carb diet and eat 5-6 meals a day and its working a treat, i do however exercise a lot so you may not need such big portion sizes if you are not so active??0
