Hello, I'm Rachel. What scale do you guys use? Are the scales that measure bmi and all accurate? Also, What would be the most tastiest affordable meal replacement shake with low sugar? -ME

I'm not entirely sure how accurate my scale is, but I use my wii board. When I double check at work, it's fairly accurate although for the most part it just shows bmi (which I think is bullocks).

    Hi Welcome to MFP

    I suggest a link

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants

I hope it is useful to you

I have tried several type of body weight scales and I prefer the simple ones. It just gives you the body weight.

I do not use "meal replacements". I prepare my own protein shake and I drink it in addition to my usual nutrition plan, not as a meal replacement. I blend: whey protein isolate, a banana and skim milk. I found it is cheaper and better quality than prepared protein shakes in the stores.

    Good luck in your journey

I love the EAS AdvantEdge Carb Control shake in French vanilla. It's a great base for any hot or cold drink or smoothie. Try adding coffee & ice and blending for a frappuccino. Add frozen strawberries (no coffee) for a smoothie. Add peanut butter for additional protein and calories when needed- so delicious.

By itself it only has 100 calories. 17grams of protein. Delish. It's my go to morning drink.

As for the scale, don't rely on it for body composition. Find a place near you to get a dexa scan and do it about every 20 pounds. I get mine for $20 at the school of human performance here in town at the university.

PS I don't count or look at macros (sugar, protein, fat, etc) I only look at calories in vs calories out. I want to enjoy all foods in moderation!
