I've never really introduced myself on a site and it feels awkward like I'm walking up to a lunch table at school and in an very poindexter-y and nasal-ly voice saying "hi guys"! But, I'm Natalie, I'm 33 and I'm loving this site so far! I am hoping to not only lose weight but get healthy in general so my husband and I can start a family. I've tried spark people but the site platform is so loud and busy and has way to much going on so I lose interest. I'm going to try and discipline myself to participate here more than I did on the other sites.

HI! I didn't just walk up to the table but just sat right down and never introduced myself. WELCOME!
  • Thanks! And congratulations on your success!

I"ve been on other sites before but this is the first on that I have "participated" and even though I feel a little silly at times (that's just me) I am determined to support others and take advantage of the support that is here - it's a good site. You'll like it ;)
  • Hello there and good to meet you. May you have a lot of successes..Zoe
  • I found the same thing with Spark people. This site is so easy to track food and it teaches in many ways!! I have not missed a day and it is so good to see what I am eating and also when to stop!!
  • Well, my biggest hurdle is "time", I'm not sure how to grow it and mass produce it but I'm working on it in my sleep. Today was a wash. I didn't get much walking but tomorrow's a new day...maybe I'll jump on board with one of the challenges!

Welcome...I find this site has definitely helped me. Even on busy days I will come home late and still take the time to update all of my food for the day. It's some direction and it makes me accountable for myself. Everyone is so supportive and it helps to see some of the ideas and suggestions from others when you are in a rut or need some additional motivation. Good luck!
