Feeling Stuck

So I have been doing this counting calories thing since August 12th. And I have lost 18 lbs and a lot of inches. But I can't seem to break the 200 lb barrier. It's frustrating. I did start Jillian Michaels 30DS this week. Anyone have any idea how to get over this hurdle? Or am I making a big deal out of nothing?

Keep doing what you're doing and give it time. Patience is key.0

Keep going. Sometimes when you start a new exercise program your muscles will hold onto some extra water for repair. You've made great progress so far so be proud of that. Weight loss is never linear, you'll get ups and downs and straight lines but if you keep on keeping on it will happen.0

Have you re-run you calorie goal with you new lower weight?
It is not big issue though. You have made a good start and keep going. It will come off. I am stuck at about 230lb and have been for a few months. Look at it this way you know you can maintain!

Yep, just keep going. You've lost plenty in that time-frame, so now you just need to be patient and keep up the good work.0

I have not redone my calories. I have a hard enough time eating what is suggested. Thank you for your inputs. I guess I am super eager to be under 200 since the last time I was, it was 1995. You are all right tho, patience is the key.0

I've recently had to change a few things to get my #'s to move again...lowered my carbs, less snacking and more water...change something up and see what happens.0
