Did you read the forum rules? Because that's an unhealthy plan for weight loss that is pro-anorexic, whether you intend it to be or not. It's not allowed here.
And I'm not going to go back and forth with any discussion. I was just letting you know in case you didn't.0 -

Instead of restricting yourself to only fruits and veg, figure out a reasonable calorie deficit (about 500 cals from maintenance, I can't figure that out for you but there are tons of online calorie calculators). If you exercise, eat back most of those calories. 10k in 3 months isn't the craziest goal I've ever heard, but you don't need to give yourself a deadline either. Best of luck to you0

Since 12 Aug 2013 I am 10.5kg down in less than two months, so its perfectly possible if your honest with yourself and put a little effort in!
PS I eat fruit and veg, and roast chicken dinners, fish and chips, egg and bacon, porridge, and lots of normal food, just everything in moderation!0 -
your plan of only eating fruits and vegetables sounds unreasonable to me.0

I counter your question with a question of my own. Why the time limit?0

Not a good plan at all. Eating only fruits and vegetables everyday would be very unhealthy. Are you forgetting about protein and fats? Kind of important stuff. What's the rush to lose weight so quickly? Forget about quick fixes, cutting out macros, depriving yourself etc. Those behaviours will only come back to bite you later! 10kg -> 22 pounds -> 12 weeks -> 2 pounds per week -> 1000 calorie deficit/day
This will be challenging. How committed are you? Can you devote 2 hours/day, every day, to exercise? 30 minutes isn't going to amount to squat, if you need to lose that much weight, that quickly.0 -
While "doable", it will be much more difficult for you than for me because I have a lot of excess fat that I need to purge. I need to lose 60 kg just to get down to where you are now. While I am currently doing over 1kg per week (2000 calories per day), that is going to drop down significantly the closer I get to my goal weight. As I get closer to what you are currently at I am expecting, at most, 0.5 kg per week (1.1 lbs). I have regular meetings with my doctor and I had a dietitian look at my plan before embarking on it.
Can it be done? Yes, but the real question is, should you do it?
You need to ensure that you put in the correct balance of carbs/fats/proteins to ensure that you don't start losing muscle mass instead of fat. A gentleman I work with is about 100 kg, but he has a very low body fat percentage so losing weight for him is extremely difficult. He recently lost weight but his loss was around 6 kg in a year. It was slow. It was painful, but it was safe.0 -
That's 22 pounds in about 13 weeks, which would mean you'd need to lose about 1.7 pounds per week, which is a little aggressive, but completely doable. It's going to require more than just 30 minutes of cardio a day though. Personally, I'd look into a bootcamp class/ program or something, then do some cardio on a couple days you don't have bootcamp. You should also do some weight lifting to preserve more muscle. And most definitely don't only eat fruits and veggies; your body needs protein and fats. Go to http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ and figure out your TDEE, then subtract 850 calories from your daily goal and eat that (but don't eat your exercise calories, they're already included in this calculation). A daily deficit of 850 should have you losing about 1.7 pounds a week (850x 7= 5950, 5950/ 3500= 1.7). Adjust your calories (up or down) as you need.0
