Halloween Hotties - Challenge for 5'3"ers -- 5 lb goal

I wanted to form a small group of maybe 4 or 5 people to do a challenge together. Preferably around 27-33 years old and around 5'3" so we'll kinda be close to the same. :-) Goal is to lose 5 lbs by Halloween!!!
It would cool to be able to add each other on so we can see each others progress on the news feed.
Weigh-in dates are: October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st

Okay I think we'll close the group with just the people we have so far. In my opinion groups get too confusing when there are a ton of people and it's hard to get to know each other and their goals because they all start running together. lol

I'm surprised I lost any weight at all this past week. It was a tough week at work, and over the last weekend, my husband and I had date night AND went to friends' houses for dinner both Saturday and Sunday night.
I'll take my 1/2 pound down and make sure this next week produces better results!!!0 -

I weighed myself last Friday and I was 132 (as opposed to 133). It seems like I may have dropped a little fast, so I'm guessing I may have some water weight fluxations (though I weighed in at 130 yesterday as well). I'm 2 1/2 weeks in and following the plan this program gave me, so I guess this is all going well. Now I don't have to feel too bad about going out to eat and have drinks tomorrow evening. I think I've earned a cheat-night. :-)0 -

I'm currently at 1,500 calories a day right now, what about the rest of you? MFP puts me at 1,320 cals but my BMR is like 1,420...0 -
MFP currently has me a 1,200 calories a day, but that takes into account the fact that I have a desk job. I burn very few calories at work sadly.
I'm being pretty good about staying in range. The days I eat more the 1,200 it's because I earned the calories back from workouts. I did have one day where I bunked it though... Mexican food and margaritas... Oh boy...0 -

I actually gained weight over this past week, and I have NO idea why. I stuck to my calorie goals, with the exception of going over by 200 yesterday (we went to a friend's house for dinner).0 -

Ok, so yesterday and Monday when I weighed myself I came in at 128 (the goal weight). Just now I weighed myself and came in at 126.5. I use this doctor's office type scale in my workplace's gym bathroom to weigh myself (I always do this between 9-10 each day). I do this fully dressed (minus my shoes). Usually I'm wearing an undershirt, long plants, knee socks, and a sweater or dress top of some kind. Today, I'm wearing hose and a light-weight sleeveless knee length dress. The conclusion I've come to is that my usual clothing probably weighs about 1.5-2lbs. It would mean that I haven't really lost 1.5lbs since yesterday, my clothing is just very different. I believe my moving forward strategy will be to try and gestimate my clothing weight and subtract it off of base weight. Because I don't like being disappointed later, I'll probably say a dress/hose combo is no subtraction, but a regular workday outfit is a 1lb-1.5lb subtraction (depending on the top I'm wearing). Ok.. that's all.0
