Sort of odd but...ACNE?

So I have been eating a lot better the last few days and working out. I shower right after my workout and wash my face in the morning and before bed but today I have these 4 giant bruise feeling pimples on my forehead and chin! I rarely get them so I'm guessing it's from the extra working out or maybe my body purging lol

Working out boosts your testosterone levels (don't worry, this is a good thing, even for women. It will boost your mood and sense of well being, as well as your libido, and will NOT make you more manly.) occasionally, it can take the skin a week or two to adjust to the new routine. That being said, make sure you wipe off sweaty skin with a clean towel, even if you will be showering very soon.0

Being all sweaty can make me break out. I think it's mainly because the sweat irritates my skin. I agree with the above poster that you should try wiping it off immediately after and see if that helps.0

I agree that it's temporary. You're just adjusting to a new workout (hormonal changes as mentioned) and the sweat on your face. Things will regulate and your body will get used to the changes.
My skin is very clear, but I use benzoyl peroxide (B.Kamins) and a light weight moisturizer to keep it that way. I also use a facewash that has salicylic acid in it. And I occasionally use an exfoliating mask.0 -

it could also be how youre taking the sweat off your face? rubbing a towel across it makes it irritated so just pat dry? but its also temporary. my pimples have pretty much stopped completely .0

I keep makeup wipes (Aveeno's are great) in my gym bag so that I can remove sweat immediately from my skin when I'm done working out. Otherwise I get those painful bumps too.0

A good diet will help your skin a lot, but if you're working out a lot too, make sure you wash that sweat off!
Six days a week, I wash my face with one of those Morning Burst products, and once a week I'll do an apricot scrub. It seems to be working pretty well so far. I mean, I still get teeny peripheral acne clusters (they're not noticeable at all, I think), but none of the big, sore, red ones.0 -
It can also come with a change in diet. I had horrible breakouts along my jaw line, I was told it could be one of three things: the muti-vitamine I was taking, increased protein or increased sweat. I cut out the vitamin and pat dry my face at the gym and it has cleared up.0

I feel your pain!
When I kicked myself in the butt again to start working out, I also was wearing a helmet for safety, and as you can imagine, I had LINES of blackheads and pimples everywhere the helmet touched; forehead, lines down my cheeks, under my jaw, and even on my scalp. I was doing the same thing of washing my face as soon as I could after exercising, washing multiple times a day, and so on, but nothing helped. Two weeks ago, a friend gave me Avon Clearskin Professional Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub and it's helped quite a bit. I only do it at night (not even right after working out) and while I have some acne still, it's nowhere near the levels prior to using it.
Keep trying different scrubs/toners and see how that helps you.0
