I took "Before" pics. Game ON.

I hit the highest weight of my life this week, and decided that was IT. I got my hubby to take "before" pics, and I am buckling down.

Sometimes it really takes a big kick in the pants (or a kick in the big pants???) to make you see just how far you've fallen. I have a long way to go, and a short time to get there *musical interlude*, but I am determined.

Good for you!! I almost cried when I looked at my before pictures. Made my daughter take them again. Lol Turns out the camera doesn't lie. Huge motivation! Good luck in your weight loss journey!!! Congrats0

I cried the very first time I saw myself for real in someone else's picture, so these "before" pictures were kind of just cementing the thought in my head. I should stare at them until I cry, maybe that will make me not want the skittles that are in my work kitchen, haha... Thank you for the encouragement0

Good luck ma! you got this0

You can do this!!! Can't wait to see your progress pics....0

Yup that is what did it for me! We were all on the beach this summer and my gf took a pic of me sitting in a chair-OMG!
That was it....cut it out and put in my journal and start eating right and joined Fitnesspal shortly thereafter! 14.4lbs down and a third of the way there.
Pictures don't lie and sometimes we just need a reality check!
You can do this.....I have faith in you!0 -
You can do this, good luck0

Great idea to take "before" pics. Think I'll do that too. Maybe even post one on my fridge.
Good luck with your journey,

You got this!! And MFP is the BEST place to find supportive, encouraging and (honest) friends!!
I wish you the BEST of luck. You can do it!! :flowerforyou:

Thanks you guys! MFP helped me lose 40 pounds about 6 years ago, and it was really great. It's just not the same without people to keep you company along the way.0

Can't wait for the "after's"
Good luck!0 -
Good for you in taking the first steps! Add me as a friend if you would like. I will learning how to run (jog) next Monday, try to eat whole foods and do the TDEE- 20% way of calculating my calories (in my opinion, much easier and less maddening way of approaching weight loss).0

I had a before pic taken by a professional photographer and have an appt in December to do it again. At that one, I'll set up an appt for late Feb/early March.
I took one this week after working out and put it on my profile page. Yuck! Can't hide much in workout clothes that are a size too small.0
