I don't know about diet/low sodium, but the price on meats, dairy, and eggs is fantastic in WA compared to BC. We head to Costco and load up on the basics.0

I live in Wa. One hour from the border. I do shop at the Costco in Burlington, Wa. But for my meat I make a trip to Oak Harbor. It is a 35 min drive from Burlington. The store is called Saar's Market. Right on the main drag. They have the BEST prices on meat. The prices are low because they have to compete with the Navy PDX. Much, much better than Costco. And the meat is good. For intance I am eating pork ribs right this moment that cost $7.00 USD for a large family pack. Bring a cooler and stock up! But shhh..it's a secret!0
