Ok i know that just upping my food intake will help my cals. but seriously, i am full. eating healthier i am able to eat more, therefore i get fuller than with junk. odd i know. but anyways i was wanting to find out if there was a good shake that can give me some cals, maybe calcium and some other nutrition without adding a bunch of sugar. like slimfast.....no way its packed with sugar. anyone know of anything else? i make my own smoothies with fresh fruit but that is high in GI and i dont want to overdo that either. thanks for any input or advice you all might have.

Grab a high quality whey protein powder (watch sugar), and add it to milk or water with frozen fruit, and destroy in blender. It's delish!

BSN protein tastes great. Their Lean Dessert protein is 150 calories per scoop. Granola and almonds are calorie dense as well.

I second the fruit and nuts-but watch for added oil, salt, and preservatives. Adding a quality protein will help too :D
