first of all this site is amazing and it blows my mind its also free,,
decided i'm gonna loose a stone and for someone who was always on the slim side i know nothing about it and everything i read also has a conflicting side that sounds just as valid as the first,,
it just confuses me at the moment so im just going to keep it simple until i know what i'm doing works ,,
i've started working out 30 minutes a day and i'm actually enjoying it (at the moment anyway)
i am so unfit its kind of shocking,, genuinely haven't done anything in maybe 15 years and i know that it terrible
buts its time lol
im just doing 30 minutes a day and trying to burn more than i'm taking in,, id be lost without this site and the app ,,
the thing i find hard is the food and diet options ,,
i'd like to try the PALEO diet as it seems the easiest for me to handle without watching everythink i eat. ive heard everything from its amazing to its life threatening lol
i think im going to just give it a go and see .. anyone done it here and maybe a few tips ?

First thing you need is this app, second - friends! And friends on this website are the secret ingredient! So feel free to add me!
I am not following any diet, just trying to move more and eat under my limit. And it's working! So take all support you need and try to give some back that's all to it. You wont even notice it your stone will be GONE! Enjoy!0 -
It sounds like you are moving (literally) in the right direction. I have recently started working on my image as well. I have never really tried anything in the past. I am surprised at how easy it is once you get your mind around it. Please feel free to add me as a friend and I will do my best to keep you motivated. Katie:happy:0

I'm pretty much in the same position as you. I'm 34 and never really worried about my weight. Not excersised since I was in 6th form.
My main aim to start with was to get my body in shape before trying for a baby next year. I decided I needed to go to classes as otherwise I just won't push myself. I started off at one class every six days, with the idea that I would cut it down once I was used to it to every five days, then four. That would have me going to different classes too. I actually found myself going slightly more often as the gym I was going to didn't have classes on Sunday or Monday I think it was. So rather than go less I would go more.
I ended up changing to a much more modern gym with more classes. Paid for a full year upfront to make sure I go. I started off with 2-3 classes a week there.
Then I got a heart rate monitor. I'm a gadget and app obsessive, so that has encouraged me to go more and more often. I've been the last five days in a row, but having two days off now.
I am beginning to see changes in my body, and that is pushing me a bit more. Unfortunately I'm the shape which carries fat around my stomach. I seem to be loosing off my legs etc, but my stomach is lagging. Someone told me Friday I look pregnant, so since then I'm not cutting my calories too. I'm just going by the net calories off this site. I must admit, that inspired me to do a cardio class this morning as I want roast beef for dinner and that will 'buy' me more calories for dinner lol.
So far it's not been too bad. I was a little hungry last night after I finished my food for the day, but that was because my other half was cooking himself potatoes and I could smell them. I had an extra 100 calories left over so just had some dates.
Anyway, I'll add you as a friend. If anyone else would like to add me feel free. :-)0
