MONDAY (Oct. 7) MINI CHALLENGE

Options
100 SIDE BENDS

Stand with feet hip-width apart. Raise your arms straight up toward the sky. Slowly lean to the right, keeping your hips and legs in a stationary position. Rotate as far as you can and then move back to center. Repeat the move on the other side (that counts as one).

If you’re new to this exercise, try it without weights. If you need an extra challenge, you can hold a dumbbell or medicine ball. No weights? Grab anything a little heavy (a book, bottle of water, jug of milk, etc)

    By rotate do you mean lean as far over as you can, or once you are leaning rotate your body in that direction? Either way i'm in :)

    I'm in. I needed a little extra after the weekend and love this simple add-on.
    I could not find it in exercise or even online relating to cals burned and went with "Calisthenics, home, light/moderate effort".

    Done - I broke it into sets of 10 - 15, and then finished up with 30. Thanks for the challange. Great I dea and good because I have a desk job and should be getting up to sttretch anyway. i agree that it was harder than I thought.
