Best tips for fighting afternoon sweet cravings?

Any tips on effectively fighting the afternoon sugar craving? Some days I'm fine, some days I nibble on fruit, some days I run up and down the stairs, some days I give in to the chocolate, but the feeling never subsides. Lately, I feel weaker than normal. I welcome any suggestions you guys might have for beating this craving...

No solution here. It used to be easier. Now I just have whatever but leave calories for dinner. I haven't gone over my goal at least, so I guess it's ok...

I was talking to a friend of mine about this a few weeks ago and got a silly suggestion that worked lovely. Menthol sugar free lozenge. Such a strong flavor it blasts cravings out of the water. Works lovely for me and bonus that its cold season and helping keeping my sinus's open lol

Set aside calories for an afternoon sweet snack. There is no reason to deprive yourself. Just budget for it.

My afternoon snack lately has been a serving of chocolate cheerios, dry. It gives me the sweet plus the chocolate for not a lot of calories. Plus it's great for the whole keep my hands busy thing as it takes a bit to eat them.
