I AM A HUGE PROPONENT OF PILATES.
I'd like to challenge anyone who has never done pilates to give it a try. I've composed a simple workout (below) which is good for beginners and will work your entire body. I never pay for Pilates videos, I always use Youtube, it's a great resource.
So, start with stretching then move on to the next link ending with core/tummy. Wait for your video to fully load before hitting play, use that time to practice slow deep breathing, focus on posture, and grab some water if you need it. :drinker:

ADVANCED BUTT AND LEGS (OPTIONAL)

CORE / TUMMY

If you follow along with those links that will give you a GREAT full body pilates workout!!! Try doing it every day or every other day and then begin looking for more pilates videos on Youtube.
REMEMBER.... Pilates is about slow controlled moves, focused breathing, keeping your core tightened, and taking your time.
If an exercise is too hard for you modify it to where you can do it to the best of your ability - don't just not do it. Take your time, and enjoy!!
IF YOU TAKE PART IN THIS CHALLENGE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!!!
THANKS AND BEST OF LUCK!!

I too love Pilates, I've done it with great success in the past but I just started with MFP and I don't know how to record a 50 minute whole body shape up workout in my exercise journal. Anyone have ideas?0
