    My sister, my dad and my son are all October birthdays all a week apart can get expensive at my house this month. Believe if I could have picked my kids birthday I would have chosen any other month than October.

    I still can't imagine them having the time with 11 month-old twins and a pair of hellish teenagers in the house. Though apparently they stopped bothering after I was born.

    My fam has a ****ton of October b'days: Me, Mom, oldest sister, aunt, ex-BIL, nephew, etc. I can't speak for them, but I like to claim that I was a retirement present. My dad retired from the Army in Dec '71 after 21 years, 1 month, and 12 days of service... and I was born in Oct '72.
    I have 3 older sibs, the youngest of which is almost 18 years older than me and joined the Air Force before I walking. I certainly wasn't planned and they were mere months away from being empty nesters. SURPRISE! :bigsmile:

    FTR: I am so NOT *in* for mental imagery of my parental units engaged into coitus. :noway: :sick:
