i looked up dancing, aerobic in the database. Then I searched a few other sites to make sure they came up with the same thing. I just kinda averaged it out. For me it comes out to about 700 calories for an hour class. When I wore a HRM it came up as 740, so I think i'm pretty close =)

I googled "calories burned during zumba". the most reliable thing I saw said that the average person burns anywhere between 500 and 800 calories in an hour. Personally, I'm logging the smaller amount just to be safe!

I'd add it as my own workout/cardio and use my heart rate monitor to accurately track my activity.
Though, if you're not planning on eating your exercise calories, total accuracy doesn't matter all that much.

LOVE zumba. I add it as 'dancing ballroom, aerobic, twist' although i'll bet it's worth more calories!
