I have never been to Anytime Fitness but would like the ability to workout anytime I wish (my gym closes at midnight during the week and earlier on weekends).
I found these Anytime Fitness workout video on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh-LFQRICR4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAl95iEcJl4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmWDZIHgtcE
Would you say these workouts are typical for Anytime Fitness members?
Do you think I would fit in at the gym even if my workouts were less extreme? It might take me a while to get to the level in the videos above.
Thanks!

I didn't watch the videos but if you are talking the Anytime Fitness gym chain it is just a regular gym with weights and cardio equipment that is open 24/7. People of all shapes and sizes go there and do whatever exercise they want. I belong to one and it is only staffed certain hours and the rest of the time it is just members.0

I've been a ATF member for 4 or 5 years. Your issued a RFID key fob to gain access to the gym anytime you want. Both of the gyms in my local area are equipped with large open rooms with digital kiosk machines loaded with pre recorded fitness classes allowing you to take classes free inside whenever you want (they play on a huge projector screen) the gym also offers extracurricular classes for a fee with live trainers...
The local gyms around here are rather dirty/ nasty and the anytime fitness places are well kept and clean, they cost more but it's worth it for me... Big time0 -

That sounds cool! Mine just has weights and cardio equipment and a trainer who hangs out a few hours a day. It is the cheapest gym in town though.0 -
oh HELL NO!
Well no, its not typical. However, since it is unstaffed between around 9pm and 6am you could get away with being noisy and getting drunk. Its also less busy late at night. And agreed, its always kept very clean. They usually have a 7 day free trial.0 -
The gyms are too small in my opinion. It's like being at a really nice home gym. Some free weights and cardio equipment. And it's almost the same price as my 24hr Fitness membership which also includes any of their locations.0

Sign me up! Just to say motherf*cker like that is definitely worth it!0

haha those were funny videos.
I have been going to Anytime Fitness for over a month and my location is great. The location is smaller than other gyms I have been at, but it is really nice.
I typically go during the day sometime between 10 - 2 and it is not that busy.
I have not seen anyone really dropping weights, screaming or putting on a show.
I signed up for month to month so I could try it out but I'm going to just change it to a year so I can now get a better rate.0 -
Thanks..... I just lost an hour of my day watching other Frank Yang videos lol. He might be my new hero.0

depends on the location... the original local anytime fitness was medium sized, but after a few years expanded quite a bit... so its bigger than many of the local gyms... there is a smaller sized anytime that went in literally across the street from my work, and i go to that... the reason i like anytime is it has SHOWERS... jesus like no other gyms around here has showers... i swear that should be like a building code item... lol0 -
I attend. I've been going a few months.I am by no means a crazy work-out person. I go in, stretch, do some cardio, do some situps, and leave. LOL.
It's always clean, it's only busy between 4 and 6 (that I've experienced). I love that each of our cardio machines have it's own tv with a headphone jack!
I started wtih an 8 day trial (you can get a free trial on their website, and it's longer if you sign in with facebook- or something like that) and when I decided I liked it (I don't feel judged!) I signed up for a year. It just gets taken out of my bank account every month.0 -
I go to Anytime Fitness, I love it there!0

I also love anytime. There are two in my local area and both are drastically different. But that is what you get with a franchise. Anytime is not a chain, it is, indeed, a franchise. That being the case, no two are alike and their cleanliness, upkeep, equipment vary from place to place and owner to owner. Luckily for me both are great here, with more than 50% free wights and minimal cardio equipment, just the way I like it. Both are impeccably kept and always clean with unused equipment getting cycled out regularly to be replaced by member requested items.
It's great... but experiences will vary.0
