Just saying 'hello.' I've been on myfitnesspal for about 10 days now. I had already lost a pretty good chunk of weight, but was on a plateau for about a month and decided I needed to start tracking what I was eating better. Thankfully, I've lost another 6lbs since joining.

I lost the bulk of the first 50lbs making some big changes in my life:
Put fitness first in my priority list.
Started biking and then did 37 hikes this summer with my wife. Now back to biking and learning pilates.
Cut out wheat and dairy, just for the time being.
Went 'organic' as much as we have been able to.

Anyway, add to that, tracking exactly what I eat and things are rolling again.

Hi, welcome and well done on what you have achieved so far. You have done fantastically.

Needing to lose a lot of weight is a daunting task to face, I was not sure I could face it alone hence the reason for me joining MFP (and another forum) so far its working.
  • 60lbs is awesome! kudos to you! Keep it up it will all be worth it in the end!
