In many sports, you choose which way to exercise.

Definitely lacrosse. I can't play myself, but my son is all about Lacrosse, so that's what we 'do' in this family. Drive him / fly him and write cheques.

I like to watch (American) Football and Rugby League. I'm beginning to find Soccer quite boring to watch.

I like to run to keep fit. I'm not stupid enough to actually play American Football or Rugby League haha!

I'm not a huge fan of watching anything unless it's a major game, but I could play softball/baseball every day.

To watch on television...currently football. Used to love watching NASCAR too.

To watch in person...nothing beats my girls playing softball.

To play...hmmmm, that's tougher. Haven't played in sports since high school which was a very, very, very long time ago. But, my goal is to one day play softball with my girls!

I play netball, which is super popular here in Australia, but I hear it's not a very well-known sport in America. The simplest way I can think of to describe it is as a non-contact form of basketball with no dribbling. (Well, it's supposed to be non-contact, but doesn't always work out that way  )

I also love watching tennis -- I used to play, but haven't done for a few years. Would like to try my hand at it again though.

Somebody mentioned dog agility. Our dog used to do agility when she was younger. It is kind of incredibly thrilling to watch.
I watch tons of soccer on television -- men's, women's, professional, college, etc. . . . any soccer really.
I play tennis at least three times per week and I used to play soccer until a few years ago.

Yes to the cricket, I played for my Uni team, and during the summer I'm a ringer for mt friends team when I can get the time off, nothing beat watching a 5 days test match with a few beers
