Well..
I've used the APP for MFP on and off for the past two years. It wasn't until last December that I discovered that MFP had an actual website and forum where you can interact with other people. Once I found that out, and gained a support group, I was more determined than ever to get in shape due to the added accountability. Not only that, but it actually felt good reading about other people's accomplishments and it felt good to be a part of their success.
I started at 198 lbs at that time. I was doing Insanity/Running/YAYOG (Which is a bodyweight program). By April 2013, I was able to drop my weight down to 169 lbs. I was in the best shape of my life and finally felt good about myself. I was going through some personal problems and hurt my self physically so I just fell off the map. Deleted MFP and kinda distanced myself.
I've finally refocused my life for the better and want to give it another go. I miss feeling the way that I used to feel. It's my hope that I can reconnect with those that helped me get to that point. I also know that there are more people that I haven't met that can help me get there.
So that's basically me in a nutshell.
Would love to rebuild that support group with your help! Just toss your name in here or send me a friend request. Thanks alot

Great to see you get back on the wagon. I can understand how injuries can drop you motivation in the dirt. First hand experience with 2 herniated disc and two torn meniscus knee surgeries and now a possible third. It can really make you ask yourself if it's all worth it. But I know it is, so we have to battle through and put focus on our health and regain control of this area. Be glad to provide support for this mission you are on. Invite me if you'ld like.0

Yeah, I think the worst part is the injury was to the bottom of my foot. It was hard enough to walk let alone run.0

The toughest thing is getting back on track... I used to be really active until I moved to Asia and got depressed with the move and just literally had 'no more energy' but finally decided to get back on track as well
.
So welcome to the fold and good luck!0 -

I've been on and off this bandwagon more times than I can count. Up to 55 days logging in now.
You can do it!
PS I can't run either. It's murder on my back. There are lots of other things you can try, you will find something to help you shrink.0
