Due to a medical issue I won't be able to work out for the next 2 weeks, I am super bummed about this, but it is what it is. My question is, when I am working out my TDEE is 2300-2500, alas for the next two weeks I won't be doing much but laying in bed, so do I drop my calories to 1240 (my bmr) to avoid gaining??

Any suggestions welcome...

You can calculate your TDEE-20% at Sedentary.

    http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

This calculator will give you a good TDEE estimate. Just select No exercise/Sedentary. It'll tell you your TDEE, BMR and how much to eat to lose weight.

Good luck, and hope you get better soon!

If you set to your BMR, then you shouldn't gain weight.

That said, I'm not a fan of worrying about weight when one is ill and is trying to recover.

I am trying not to worry to much, but I would rather not gain any weight if it can be helped! :)
