Tea v.s Water

I'm trying to track my water intake after recently having a salvitary gland stone (which was painful!). If you drink plain tea (i.e no added sugar or milk) would you count that as water consumption?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yep - I have 2 cups of herbal tea per day. It's nothing but flavored water as far as I'm concerned.0

Depends on the tea, some are diuretics. If you dip a herbal teabag a few times in tepid water you aren't transferring much to your cup and it is basically water. If you drink stronger tea then you are transferring more to your cup and I don't count it as water anymore.
That said I aim for 3 L of liquids, not necessarily 2L of water.0 -
Good point! Thanks!0
