I DIDN'T WANT TO TELL YOU BUT..........MY FIRST NSV

So I initially didn't want to post about this because I didnt think of it as a big deal and I have only lost 8 lbs so far and I can't believe its happening. But because the more I wear these jean I realized and have come to terms that this is what it is. They are sagging like never before and when i went to take them off I didnt have to unbotton them I just pulled them right on down...they roll down my tummy and back side. I thought maybe because they are too small or my tummy is too big (in denial) so i pull them up and somehow they are ending up underneath..lol ....YAY!! NOT A BIG LOSS BUT IT DOES EXCITE ME
I HAVE BEEN ON MY JOURNEY SINCE 9/11/2013

You've been doing this less than a month and you've lost 8 pounds? Holy kamole! And that NSV is a big, big deal. Celebrate it!

Well HEY good job! I have lost nearly 30 and I can't for the life of my find anything positive in my reflection. I started using tape measurement because I heard those can reflect changes when weight can sometimes stay the same... so for you to have something to fall back on at 8lbs is AWESOME! Keep it up!

That is so cool! Good for you!

I've slowly replaced most of my pants over the past 6 months, and right now I have 3-4 pairs that I can take on/off easily without unbuttoning/unzipping. Then I have about 5 pair that actually do fit properly, and sometimes when I wear those I will catch myself panicking for a sec in the restroom that they are "tight" since I can't just pull them down LOL. Pants shouldn't be that loose. Especially when you have a figure w/ bigger belly/bum and smaller waist (like I do, and it looks like you do also, based on pic).

I believe NSVs are an awesome thing to celebrate and can really motivate you even when the scale is not moving. I have lost 44 lb so far and right now I've had about 2 weeks with the exact same weight every single morning, it's frustrating but the NSVs keep coming and that keeps me going :-)

    Good for you! :flowerforyou:

Doesn't matter if it's not a big deal to anyone else, it's those things that build your motivation so revel in them when they come along. And use them to fall back on when you hit a wall and your motivation is in the dumps.
