daily caloric intake

Hey so I started using the food diary, and over the last three days I set my daily rate at 1725, which for a 5'6" 166 pound male is what I calculated I'd need to eat to lose about a pound a week.
But I have to say: I am so hungry at the end of the day! Strangely though, two of those days I did cardio, and was not too hungry. Then today I took a day off and ended up eating over 2100 calories! This is why I quit the food diary a few months ago b/c I just get so neurotic about the numbers. But if I don't pay attention to numbers I have no idea if I am making progress.

You don't have much to lose, try switching to half a pound a week. This will give you more cals, which would help with the hunger issue. Do you eat back exercise cals, too? If not, start - that's how MFP works.0

Make sure you're hitting your macro goals and getting lots of fiber, too. That will keep you fuller. This s an excellent read if you haven't read it yet.
