Workout schedule

I tend to head to the gym at least 5 days a week. I always run a mile outside to get warmed up. Then I do some lifting depending on what I haven't done lately. What is your workout schedule. Example: legs Monday, chest Tuesday, cardio daily etc. I feel like if I come up with a schedule it may help me become more consistent.

  • Creating a schedule helped me stay consistent. Even if I didn't always follow it exactly, it still guided me. I would plan the workouts for 2 weeks then change it up. Sometimes I might change it up more often though, depending how effective I thought the workout was or how much I liked it.

I stick with 3 hiit cardio and 2 strength training a week as a guideline. Then I pick specific workouts to follow for 1-2 weeks.

I've just started the Strong Curves program, so I'm lifting 3 times a week right now, MWF. Monday I did some quick HIIT from Fitness Blender after. Tuesday I ran, and I'm getting ready to run right now (Thursday). Sometimes I'll do something on Saturday or Sunday, but typically, the weekends are my rest days.
