I weigh myself twice a week. It's good to see how your weight fluctuates depending different circumstances, then when you get to know your body and the weight fluctuations, decide on when's best to weigh yourself. It's all down to your personal choice as everyone is different.
I don't measure myself, I just go by how my clothes fit.0 -
It's really a personal choice, based on how it affects you psychologically and emotionally.
I weigh every day because I like to know the results of how I'm eating. For me, it's very scientific and logical and I don't get too down in the dumps if I gain or don't lose. I use those results to gain insight into what works for me.
I know for some that is too much. If they see a gain, they get down and eat badly as a result.
Just try differen methods until you find what works for you.0 -
... that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to ride the emotional rollercoaster of the daily scale reading or pick up the damn thing and sling it out of the window.

I can't see why weigh yourself once a week is to often. I weigh myself every monday morning. If i change my diet i will might weigh myself a few more times during the week just to keep track on how its going. As for measurements, i never bothered about that either. I just when by scales. Just do what you feel right with this.0

When I was in losing mode, I weighed every week or 2, now that I'm in maintenance it's once a month. Some people weigh daily. Don't think there is really a wrong answer here, just don't allow yourself to get frustrated if you don't think you're not losing fast enough or if your weight flucuates, just stay focused.0

I weigh myself every morning before my shower, nude, after morning peepee/poopoo. They always tell you to weigh in the morning, that's the most consistent and accurate measurement. If you weigh yourself after a meal while wearing clothes, you'll tell yourself "oh, well I just ate, so I need to deduct x amount, and I'm wearing clothes, so I should deduct x amount". I make sure there's nothing to deduct, the number is the number. I find that weighing every day keeps me on track. When the number went up a couple weeks ago after two days of "relaxed" eating, the scale told me I needed to cut that out, so I did.0

Me personally I am sticking to once a month. I have recently weighed myself and did not lose not 1 pound after three good solid weeks of working out and eating clean. It nearly destroyed me because it does affect my emotionally. I know that im gaining more muscle because I lift 3-4x a week. I just cannot do it, too much for me. Besides I just look at my overall appearance naked and that tells me I am definetly toning A WHOLE LOT! So Im happy with that:)0

Once a month for me! Even though I know that weight fluctuates daily, I get discouraged and sabotage myself if I don't see a loss every week. So I weigh once a month and it's worked well for me. This (3 months) is the longest I have maintained a diet/healthy lifestyle in years. I'm convinced it is because I don't allow myself the option of getting discouraged and throwing in the towel by daily/weekly weighing. But most people can weigh weekly without messing up like i do! To each their own!0

Weigh yourself as often as you like as long as it doesn't drive ya crazy. Measure yourself every 2-4 weeks. Weigh & measure food for every meal.0

I weigh myself once a week & make sure the day before to try to have meals lower in sodium & drink plenty of water. I also weigh early in the morning.0
