Are you working out at home or the gym?

What has helped you most to get the results you have?

What do you think is the most important equipment to have in your home gym?

    1.) Both

    2.) Diet

3.) my bed- for sleep = rest and recovery.

okay all sarcasm aside- I do body weight only at home. I love my workouts- but I prefer to work out at the gym. I only workout at home when I have no other options. I do heavy lifting at the gym- very responsible for my PR's. But I rotate through heavy lifting and HIIT style training even at the gym- so my home workouts- i do at the gym- only because that's where I prefer to do them.

If i had to have something at home- it' would absolutely be a pull up bar... followed up with a sand bag... followed by a dip station or equalizer station.

    Gym.

What has helped you most to get the results you have?
Heavy lifting. Though I won't post the photos here, I took pics one year apart, exact same weight, but there is a huge difference in my body size. During that year I cut way back on cardio and focused on lifting 4 hours a week.

A power cage or squat rack, no question. I could do nearly everything I do in the gym in the cage.

I work out 95% of the time @ my home gym which I LOVE. I work at a gym and honestly hate working out there, but will if that's all time will allow.
What has helped you most to get the results you have?

Consistency and discipline with both my workouts and my diet.
What do you think is the most important equipment to have in your home gym?

    My Olympic weightlifting set.

Ditto. I did heavy lifting 3x per week and cardio when I felt like it, usually 1-2 times per week on non-lifting days.

Thanks so far! I've been working out and pretty much used nothing but cardio to lose all my weight and ready to switch it up now.

    I workout at home.

    Diet helps the most

squat stand, barbell, adjustable dumbbells, a bench, and various plates of weight

Right now usually at home, but I'd rather the gym.

Diet helps to get lean. Lifting just retains muscle (otherwise you'd lose it too)

Right now all I have is dumbbells with little plates. I can get a decent workout with those but if I had room, I'd want a power cage, a bench, an Olympic barbell, and of course plates.
