Rest time when do you take it?

When do you take rest time? How long do you rest? How often? When you rest do not do anything at all?

    i assume you mean days off? currently M-W(leg day)-F lift. Run on Sun-Tues-Sat. Completely off Thurs.

    If you mean rest between sets: usaully 90s or so when doing my current 5x5. If i do circuits i ony rest between circuits~1-2min, sip water and chill.

    Not sure what you're asking. Every week I have a schedule rest day - no meaningful exercise. Every 6 weeks or so I take a rest week - deload on everything by, like, 50%.

    Well I usually do a routine for about 8 weeks. Then I take a rest for about 1 week but I still walk and/or run during that week. I am trying to decide if I should do nothing during that 1 week off. I have not had a week without some form of exercise in about 3 years. I find it very difficult to skip a day without doing something. I don't feel like I need it I am just wondering if my body would benefit from doing no walking and/or running on that rest week.
