Sorry for the all caps hollering but please let anyone you know who might be taking this stuff. The Hawaii Dept. of Health identified 24 of 29 cases of liver damage in the last six months to Oxylite and has asked stores to take it off the shelf. Although the feds previously warned about some of the ingredients, since the gov't is closed, nothing's been done in response to this recent Hawaii finding.

You can't live without a liver and at least one death in Hawaii has been attributed to this stuff. Google "liver failure weight loss Hawaii" and you'll find a lot of news sources.

Oh, and I just found this so hopefully the FDA will come out with something soon:

UPDATE (9-Oct-2013) The FDA is investigating. This just reached wide circulation.

Steven Immergut, a spokesman for the FDA, said the agency has recalled “a couple” of technical experts who had been furloughed due to the government shutdown. The CDC said it had already begun responding to the situation at the time of the shutdown and has not had to change its staffing.

    I saw this on the news! Very scary! I tried those once and didn't like them at all. Now I wonder if I should go and get a full check up at the Doctor. I feel fine, but you never know I guess.

    Honestly you shouldn't be taking that garbage to begin with.
    Everyone wants an easy button or a pill to fix whatever is aching them instead of doing some hard work.

    Well of course I agree with you. I was young and ignorant on the subject at the time. I would like to think I have learned a little since then :) I am here doing it the right way now.
