Hi everyone!
After being tired and down about my weight I decided its time to change. I'm only 19 but haven't took much care of my self. 5'5" and 247 pounds. And on my laptop all day. I started logging my food a few days ago, while my eating habits haven't changed that much (Still cook a tv dinner for breakfast, pure laziness), I am getting a little sick of the way I eat.
Looking at the forums I'm already getting inspiration to push harder. Hope to just slim down some and fit better in my clothes, and not be so self conscious. Maybe I'll be able to go swimming again.
See you all around!

Good luck to you! You've already made a big step by logging your food. When you actually sit down and read what you eat all day, if it is really that bad then it might just help you push even harder to change.0

ETA:Paying attention and adjusting your food habits is a great place to start, I would also suggest implementing a exercise routine into your life, no need to go to hard at first, start with small and achievable goals and keep reevaluating and adjusting as time goes on. Would also suggest introducing lifting into your life so you are able to maintain lbm as you lose weight.

Oh my the links! haha, thanks for that.
I think i'll stick mfp's default system for my log ins, might look to differ in the future.
So it suggested I go with a 1820 calorie plan, and I'm doing 30min-1hr 3-4 times a week on a ellipictal or leisure biking. Once I contunie that I'll look into strength. Can't wait!0 -
Good luck, it sounds like you're heading in the right direction. And it's awesome that you've decided to take control :happy:0
