How to track potassium?!

I'm noticing that a lot of high potassium foods (yogurt and milk, for example) have "0" for their potassium number... since it doesn't often get posted on the labels. (For example... my Hood 1% and Chobani Greek yogurt from breakfast -- looks like I'll need to change cereals, though).
How the heck can I maintain a track on my potassium intake that way??? I will be going on potassium sparing medication soon and need to have a more accurate measure of K-intake, but I don't want to rewrite the entire food database!
Any ideas? It would be nice if you could modify individual nutrient numbers after your food has been recorded (rather than creating a whole new food item).

I track potassium, and what I did was create a potassium "food" in the data bank that just has 1 mg of potassium and nothing else. Then I use that to add the information on. So after I add a meal, I check anything that has a 0 in the potassium column, get the correct info, and add it in.0
