Using an elliptical over the weight limit

Hello everyone! I had a couple questions maybe some of you could help me out with. Recently I have lost 48lbs and I am almost to my 300lb goal. My husband is still weighing in at 375lbs. I am looking into getting an elliptical for use in our home, but they are so expensive to get! I need to find an elliptical that can hold my husband and I up. Can you use an elliptical over the weight limit and if so, what are some brands that you recommend under $600?

When I was 351 pounds, I ruined 2 machines that had 250 and 300 pound capacities, so spend the extra $ on getting an elliptical that is able to handle your weight. I like Pro-Form.0
