Can calories burned today be logged on tomorrow's diary?

Just curious. If I haven't reached my calorie goal today without adding exercise calories, can I use the calories burned today on tomorrow's log? Thanks

Log honestly, but don't worry if you eat today's exercise calories tomorrow, or vice versa.

What matters is over the course of a week or so, that on average you hit your goal :)
  • that's the beauty of life, you can basically do whatever you want, within reason.

fwiw, i track weekly calories and calories burned.....so it doesn't really matter where I put them. I just reset on Monday.

Sure! go to the date that you would like to log on and log exercise under that date; same as you can do for food should you need to do advance planning.

Sure, it doesn't matter what your daily calories are as much as your weekly calories are.

IE: If you aim for 2200 calories a day and eat 2000 for 6 days then eat 3400 one day it's the same as eating 2200 every day, probably better really.

Your calories will average out in a few days, or a week.

Our body doesn't know about what we're inputting on MFP.

Why not just be honest with yourself?

Looks like "pre-logging" is more popular than I was aware of. I found several threads; one is in the Chit Chat. I also read some about it in the technical support forum. I came across one MFP'r who plans her meals on a monthly basis...oh my goodness, I am doing good to do one day at a time!
