doesn't matter-some people prefer breaking them up to several small meals and others prefer 2 or 3 bigger meals a day with no snacking. It's a preference thing an neither way is better than the other. Just hit your calorie goal by the end of the day and you'll be fine0

Doesn't matter. I had 200 for lunch, and over 1,000 for dinner, leaving over 400 for a snack tonight.0

Also, if that picture is you at your current weight, 1380 is going to be far too little for you. You look like a healthy guy with not very much to lose from the looks of it. I suggest calculating your TDEE online and eating 20% less than that number. You'll be happily shocked at how much you'll be able to eat and still lose weight.
Good luck!0 -
Thank you so much for the replies!, now all is crystal clear!0

Agree with the above posted - 1360 was too little for me as a female at 5' 6'' and 150 pounds, so I'd think it might be too few for you, too!0

those are my goals, im in 2 lbs per week, thats why there is a 1000 cals cut, been there for like 2 months, and gave me good results, but seems that all of you recommend to raise the cal intake, what should i do?
thanks in advance0 -
Whatever you feel like. My meals are anywhere in between 180 calories and 800.0

My job provides lunch so my breakfast is usually between 300 and 400 calories and then my lunch averages 800-1000 calories. That usually meets my caloric goal for the day, and I'm usually full and don't eat dinner. If I'm hungry or I do a lot of exercising for the day I'll often have a couple hundred calorie snack at home.
Do whatever works for you and keeps you from starving as long as it's within your caloric goals and you're losing and not starving to death.0 -

There is no need to try and lose 2 lbs per week at this point. That's just to aggressive. Have you tried to calculate your own TDEE? You could have a deficit of 10-15% while lifting heavy and make some great improvements in your body composition.
being my TDEE 2792 ill substract its 15% and begin to hit da gym, id like to reach christmas with 185lbs and some muscle, thanks fitness pals for your replies0 -
300 breakfast and 500 for lunch and 500 for dinner and split the snacks equally for the calorie diet your on0

IMO, 2500 calories would be a good place to start (provided you are training at least 3 times per week).
198 (current weight) x 10 = 1980 x 1.55 (activity factor) = 3069 (TDEE) - 540(deficit) = 25290 -
It depends. How many meals you eat and how much you plan to workout that day? On higher workout days my breakfast is 400 or more. On no or low workout days, I like to stay around 300.0
