No more blood pressure

Just visited my doctor yesterday and after monitoring my blood pressure daily for 2 weeks have finally been taken off my medication after 10 years!....my report was Perfect blood pressure. It's amazing what losing weight can do for your body and health.

    I had to laugh when I saw this. So glad you are off your medicine now. But from the title I thought you didn't have a blood pressure from your dieting and you were in trouble.

    been there done that.
    I was told I would be on medication for the rest of my life.

    Totally normal BP now. but had to lose 6stone to do it.

    Excellent!!

    I too have come off of high blood pressure medication first, and recently now am off of cholesterol medication as well. Only meds I take are vitamins now!

    JK, kicking my meds was one of the biggest mental accomplishments for me as well, so congrats to you.

    Fabulous! I've got kidney problems, so I don't know if I'll ever be totally able to come off my BP meds, but I'm hoping I can cut down on my dose at some point.
