2 years later and I'm still not used to 1500kcal per day

It's funny, I've been on this site for more than 2 years now, lost a good amount of weight the first year and then kinda maintained in the second, but now that I wanna lose again I still struggle with my 1500 calorie quota a day! Like, shouldn't I be accustomed to eating this much calorie after all this time?

Perhaps up calories by 100 or 200 - if you can still lose on that? It'll be slower but less painful!

Actually the last year that I was "maintaining", my plan was still losing, but I kept going up a few hundred every day and so the plan changed from "losing on 1500cal" to "maintaining on 1900cal". I wanna lose these last 5kgs and even though I try to eat healthy whole wheat full of fiber food during the day I still get hungry at nights!

I hear ya! If you add 150 and have 1650 you can have a nightime snack like a hot chocolate and an apple. Or half a Snickers bar.

If it's actually possible to have just half a Snickers bar... I've never managed it, personally.

Since you maintain at 1900. Aim for calories to be 1750 thats still 150 deficit And/or up the exercise so you can afford to eat more calories.

I stick with .5lb a week puts e at 1740 day plus I exercise and some days Im under by a few hundred some days I eat right up to 1740. I like having the flexibility. Do what works what you can stick with.

An extra 150 is a nice snack at night..

If you want to stay satisfied all day, have protein with every meal and snack. Protein keeps us satisfied the longest, then fat, and finally bringing up the rear carbs are the least so you whole wheat is doing nothing on the satiety issue.

Haha I know! Once you open a chocolate bar you can't save some for later ;)

But good advice, I should try paying more attention to protein and carbs and see how that change my appetite during the day.
