Les Mills Combat, Insanity, Focus T25, CLX, OH MY!

I started my journey on December 27, 2012 at 263 pounds. I was severely depressed...not to mention always tired, it would take all I had just to make it through a work day having to stand on my feet all day. I thought I was a lost cause...I thought that there was seriously no hope for me to ever improve anything about my life. I just thought I was worthless...a total waste. I couldn't believe that I let myself get to that point. I was ruining my relationships with my family, friends, and the love of my life. I decided that day that it was time to end all of this. I was 100% in charge of how I was feeling. I did NOT want to feel like that anymore and only I had the power to change it. I started with Les Mills Combat...I could barely life my legs up. My kicks were horrible and my punches were just as bad! I was modifying the modifier! Did any of that matter? NO! Because I was moving. After the 60 days it got easier. I lost 45 pounds and tons of inches off of my body. I had changed my diet drastically...while still allowing myself to enjoy the things that the old me liked to eat from time to time. I started to feel happy. I had a better outlook on life and even started planning what I wanted to get out of it in the future. That was so unlike me...I mean, I wanted to end my life pretty much daily before. Sad to say, but it was true. My relationship was better...WAY better. We started arguing less, had more fun in the bedroom...it was just great.I moved on to Insanity after that. If you have done this program you will understand when I say......holy crap. I can't believe that I was even able to do it...and sometimes I even was able to keep up with the trainers! At over 200 pounds, after not even being able to lift my legs before, this was a big deal. I did not finish the program, unfortunately, due to an injury that was a result of poor form. When they say to never sacrifice form, they mean it! In June of this year I took part in Foam Fest, a 5k obstacle run. I...ran...a...5k. I hated every second of it, but I did it I went from there to Focus T25...that program was just amazing. Not only is it 25 minutes a day, which after doing 40+ minutes a day with Insanity was probably the best thing in the world, but I got amazing results with it also...especially in the Beta round. I really liked the fact that we were using weights since it was completely new to my routine. Hence why now I am doing Chalean Xtreme...and loving it! I am in the second Phase now, which is the Push Phase. I fell off the wagon due to vacation and got a little behind but have been working at getting back into the swing of it all full force. I am also planning to jump on the Whole30 bandwagon...to REALLY clean up my eating! My overall weight loss results so far are 70 pounds. I went from 263 to 193 in less than a year. I credit it all to Beachbody...the programs, the trainers, the message boards, and the closeness I felt with my team. Yes, I am a coach. No I am not going to plug myself. There is nothing more obnoxious than reading a really great story and then ruining it...right? Thank you for reading my story!

Congratulations on your transformation. You are beautiful!
December 27 is my birthday by the way.
Beachbody and T25 have changed my life too. I lost over 10% of my body weight and feel better than ever. Like you, I am paying it forward as a coach. Totally agree that nothing ruins a story more than a sales pitch.
You are an inspiration!!!! Your story is powerful. Best of luck as you continue your journey.0 -

Thank you so much DawnBrookey! I am a new coach and do not want to go about it the wrong way. I figure, if people are inspired by my story, they can contact me. All I can do is get the word out that the products work! book_lover123...it was hard, very hard. Maybe the fact that it was so much trouble for me to do it made me want to keep going and be better? I never thought I had that mindset, but apparently I do!!! Best of luck to both of you on your journeys also...by the looks of your tickers you are both doing very well so far!0

Thank you! I haven't had short hair in years...goes very well with my thinner face and neck! When I was heavier I didn't have much of a neck......I looked like Roseanne Barr with short hair! LOL!0
