Feet Ripping Sensation During Insanity

Hi all,
I've been doing Insanity for about a week now. I have low arches, so when I run long distances or jump rope for a long period of time I often feel the soles of my feet tearing. It feels like its being stretched right in the middle of the bottom of my feet.
I get this feeling while doing Insanity and the pain makes it hard to finish the workout. Of course, the workout is hard as it is, and I wouldn't be able to finish it yet even if no pain on the bottom of my feet. However, even during warmups, I have to stop not because of short breath or tnesion in my muscles but b/c the pain on the borrom of me feet.
is this normal? what should i do?

Find a good shoe store with knowledgeable staff that can fit your feet correctly!!0

It is most likely the shoes. I use trail runners from New Balance for all of my indoor workouts. No feet pain ever since!0

I recommend pulling out the insoles of your current shoes and replacing them with Superfeet insoles, which most running shoe stores sell. That will provide support for your arches during high-impact activity, since arches don't have much flexibility.
Only wear the Superfeet insoles when you do activities that hurt your arches. Supportive insoles and shoes will weaken your feet if worn constantly.
Also work on improving arch flexibility by doing this stretch a few times a day:
